Many scholarships require the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Access the 2009-2010 application after January 1, 2009 at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The federal school code for UCCS is 004509.

Description

Graduate Diversity Scholarship is a need based award given to those who seek to create a multicultural campus environment in which each person contributes unique talents to make UCCS a better place. Both full-time and part-time awards are made each year. First generation students and single parents are encouraged to apply.

Award Status

Scholarships will be awarded before May 1. Notification will be sent via mail and e-mail.

Special Essay Requirement

UCCS seeks to develop a multicultural campus environment in which each person contributes unique talents to make the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs a better place and in turn is fully valued and supported. How will you promote diversity and inclusiveness at UCCS and within your chosen profession?
